When you come to Bath (and you should), I recommend starting with this tour. You will get an appreciation of the rich history of this amazing small town. When wandering around later, you will more fully appreciate each building and landmark. A great way to get to know the city.

— Finn, Washington, DC

I really appreciated the attention to detail. I had no idea there was such a wonderful history in such a small town. I look forward to the next tour!

Meg Barker's enthusiasm and knowledge educated, energized, and entertained our group. The short-ish time we spent together whizzed by.

I learned so much about the rich history of Bath on Embark's walking tour. Meg is an amazing tour and history guide. It was the perfect way to combine history, sightseeing, walking and fresh salt air. All done while scouting the perfect place to have lunch in this beautiful coastal town.

— Lauren, Portsmouth, NH

Meg was so personable! As we walked the streets of Bath, we were like old friends, exploring what had changed-and what had stayed the same-in our hometown together.

— Nicole, Arlington, VA

Our tour was certainly the highlight of a wonderful long weekend we spent in Bath. History seemed to come to life as we followed Meg along Washington Street, hearing the stories… and coming to understand the rich history of this place. Five stars is not enough!

All of our tours visit the Gazebo at Library Park - the site of Bath, Maine celebrations, past and present. Also the site of one of the most persistent Bath mysteries - until a tour participant helped us solve it!

“Meg was a fabulous guide! She truly made Bath’s rich history come alive!”
